Swedish myFC’s portable fuel cell charger JAQ, designed by Aruliden, has received the prestigious Good Design Award in the category Electronics.
myFC, together with the award winning New York based design agency Aruliden, developed the innovative Fuel Cell Charger, JAQ, with the aim of appealing to the fashion conscious consumer. It is now official that myFC won the prestigious design prize, Good Design Award 2016 in the category Electronics.
"We need power solutions that are always ready: no preparation needed, just grab and go. We leveraged this universal painful point to develop a brand strategy for myFC’s newest portable fuel cell charger that would speak to and relate with all the moments that matter", says Johan Liden, Co-founder of Aruliden.

The Good Design Award is the world’s most prestigious and recognized Design Awards program organized annually by The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design in cooperation with the European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies.
Good Design covers new consumer products designed and manufactured in Europe, Asia, Africa, and North and South America.
The Award was founded in Chicago in 1950 by the former MoMA curator Edgar Kaufmann, Jr., together with such pioneers in modern design as Charles and Ray Eames, Russel Wright, George Nelson, and Eero Saarinen, Good Design honors the yearly achievements of the best industrial and graphic designers and world manufacturers for their pursuit of extraordinary design excellence.
