The Indian Patent Office intends to grant myFC another key patent application. The patent includes the unique construction which is key to myFC's thin and highly efficient PEM fuel cell LAMINA, the backbone of the company's hybrid platform. The patent has previously been granted in Europe.
The patent covers vital parts of myFC’s fuel cell construction, specifically variants for embedding cells in the chassis-bearing structure which allows for the thin, flexible and flexible design of the fuel cell.
"This patent plays a major role in protecting our LAMINA cell, which is crucial for the development of JAQ Hybrid and, the integration of our technology in smartphones, and the development of our range extender for the electric vehicle market," says Björn Westerholm, CEO of myFC.
MyFC’s patent portfolio comprises more than 80 granted and pending patents.
